2021 Jeep Wrangler Engine and Transmission System

There will be two engine options available with this off-roader. The base one is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 powertrain that creates an output of 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
This type of engine will be offered with two transmission options, a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic. The next one is optional and it will be available across all trim line. This engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder pumping out 268 horses and 295 lb-ft of torque. It is only available with the 8- speed automatic transmission.
2021 Jeep Wrangler Will Be Extended By Two Inches
According to some rumors, the newest 2021 Jeep Wrangler’s styling will be purely evolutionary. However, at this moment there are no available photos. From the information that we got, this year model will be more than two inches wider than the predecessor. It will be built on the same platform that will be extended by two inches more than the last generation.
This will bring space inside and also great stability and comfort. As in the current model, the new one will use the Aluminum doors that are easier to remove. The LED headlights and taillights will be installed and there will be multiple roof configurations to enjoy the open-top off-roading.

The interior of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler SUV will continue to be retro and modern. The two rows model will keep the same features as the predecessor. The cabin will be spacious, stylish and techy. If one chooses the unlimited model it will get more rear-seat legroom because of the longer-extended wheelbase.
Also, with this model buyers will get this year more quality materials and more new technology will be installed. The Sports trim is expected to come with the same 8-speaker audio system, USB and AUX inputs. Unfortunately, features like power windows, air conditioning, and a touch-screen audio system with Bluetooth technology will be available on higher trim levels. Also, the optional packages will bring hardtop configurations, a much bigger 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system, blind-spot sensors and more.
Fuel Economy
The base Pentastar V6 engine this year will be more fuel economy as per latest update. With the model that is offered with two doors EPA city/highway fuel economy is 25/27 mpg, this is slight improvements over the current one that provides 23/25 mpg. However, the model that comes with four doors share the same numbers with the current one 22/24 mpg. The next optional powertrain gives the same EPA city/highway fuel economy of 17/25 mpg for the model with manual transmission, 17/23 mpg for the manual 4-door and 18/23 mpg for the automatic.
2021 Jeep Wrangler MSRP and Release Date
The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler SUV is not yet available. From some rumor, the price will be the same as in the current one. The Wrangler Sports 2-door model comes with the price of $29,500, while the Rubicon 4-door goes up to $43,000.
With the 4-door Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and all equipment in, the price will easily pass the $55,000 mark. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler from the latest news will debut in the 2020 year as the 2021 model.
