It is a 2.7-liter twin-turbo gasoline unit that provides 305 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. As for the diesel version, it will use a 3.0-liter TDI output. This engine is rated at 255 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. However, Volkswagen promised more power for 2022 Amarok and its diesel engine.
2022 VW Amarok Exterior Updates
The all-new 2022 VW Amarok will look aggressive and mean once again. This time, the manufacturer will add a more stylish presence that is similar to the Atlas Tanoak concept. The redesign includes new fenders with more muscles and a complete change of the front fascia. Whatsoever, LED illuminated headlights are available and the front grille is wider than before. The bed is slightly larger and it is separated from the cabin
Amarok now looks more upscale and closer to the regular body-on-frame pickup truck. The German automaker is offering a new set of wheels, exterior color paints, and thinner taillamps.
