A standard 3.6-liter V6 is producing up to 305 HP and 275 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes with 8-speed automatic transmission. Systems such as direct fuel injection and variable valve timing are included. A smaller 2.8-liter Duramax engine is optional.

This turbodiesel unit is providing fewer horses, up to 180 HP. 370 lb-ft of torque is what the customers like to see. Unlike the standard engine, optional powertrain offers a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

That price is somewhere between the Ford Raptor and Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. If you want a wilder ride, ZR2 Bison cost slightly below $55,000. Chevrolet’s new pickup truck will hit the markets later in 2019.
