Not so long ago, Chrysler made a strange move with the new Voyager. This model should replace the entry-level Pacifica minivan. Many reliable sources said that the Voyager would look almost the same as the current Pacifica. That will not happen.

At least something will be the same as on the Pacifica model. The 2021 Chrysler Voyager will deploy the same and reliable 3.6-liter V6 engine. This potent unit is producing 287 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. A 9-speed automatic transmission is available, and Voyager will surely provide a very pleasant ride. Pacifica’s new torque-vectoring AWD system will be available on Voyager.
Thanks to that, new setup will shuffle power to all four wheels, if needed. Moreover, all the power can be sent only to the rear wheels as well. New Voyager minivan will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7.6 seconds. It can tow almost 3,600 pounds and it will use a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Chrysler basically confirmed that the Pacifica and Voyager would wear different faces. New 2021 Chrysler Voyager will keep its current design while Pacifica minivan will get a more dramatic facelift. Voyager won’t offer any of Pacifica’s novelties. Some people think this is a crazy idea.
On the other hand, this is a good way to separate your premium minivan from something more affordable. Furthermore, Pacifica’s buyers will be more eager to open their pockets. Generally, the arriving 2021 Voyager will replace the Pacifica LX trim level and it will represent a more affordable variant.

If you have to choose between Pacifica or 2021 Chrysler Voyager, Pacifica is a much better option. As for the Voyager minivan, it will cost below $30,000. Moreover, this model will arrive this summer, before the Pacifica. The main competitors are the Toyota Sienna and the Kia Sedona.
