According to the latest news, the popular Blue Oval manufacturer is building a new pickup truck 2021 Ford Courier that will be released sometime next year. The forthcoming model will ride on the same platform as the Ford Focus model and it will borrow many cues from the popular Ford Ranger pickup. A couple of days ago, the 2021 Courier has been spied on the streets of Detroit. It’s wearing heavy camouflage that not allows us to see many details.
Under the hood, this pickup will get a two engine option, and one of them is diesel. The hybrid variant is almost certain to happen sometime in the future.
2021 FORD COURIER ENGINE SPECS
According to the latest rumors, the upcoming 2021 Ford Courier will be offered with two engine options. The first most likely candidate will be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine. The exact output is not available. This unit can that is also lying under the hood of the popular Ford Escape model makes 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. We can expect the same range of output or maybe better. The next one on the list is a diesel variant that will be available on the European. This engine will smaller than the first one. The 1.5-liter EcoBlue engine seems like a perfect candidate.
There is a rumor that this model may also get a hybrid drivetrain. Engine specs at this moment are not available yet as the official confirmation.

From the images that we got, the new truck will use many cues from the Ford Ranger. Thanks to the unique design the Courier will ride on a longer wheelbase that will be measured between 120 and 122 inches.
The body of the model that is caught is heavy camouflage and it perfectly hiding most of the exterior design. According to some sites, the upcoming pickup truck will get many features and we can expect at least four trim levels. As we already mentioned, many cues have been taken from the Ranger model like front grille and some lines.
INTERIOR
