2020 GMC Yukon Concept, Redesign, Release Date, Price. The full-size GMC Yukon is closing to the end of its fourth generation. Actually, the 2020 GMC Yukon should be the last model year of the current generation and it will receive few changes.

2020 GMC Yukon Redesign

The Yukon can carry a number of passengers but also allows up to 8, 500 pounds of towing capacity and that with the short-wheelbase version. The big mass needs more fuel and the Yukon will return around 19 mpg combined with the smaller engine. The more powerful Yukon should be around 17 mpg combined.

The 2020 GMC Yukon follows some minor changes on the exterior look and the introduction of the standard 10-speed automatic transmission for the 2018 model year. The model will switch to the new platform which will actually be the evolution of the current K2XX architecture.

INTERIOR:

The cabin of the upcoming Yukon will return unchanged. The Yukon also provides the maximum of 95 cubes of the cargo space while the extended-wheelbase version improves to 121 cubes.

EQUIPMENT:

The Yukon will return in the same trim options but the new packages should be added to the SLT trim.

All versions of the full-size SUV will include an 8-inch display-based infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto features. The base SLE will also come with the 18-inch wheels, tri-zone climate control, side steps, keyless entry and ignition, bucket front etas, etc. The safety systems such as the forward collision warning, low-speed braking, lane departure warning, and intervention, etc. will likely be available in this trim as the package option.

The SLT version will upgrade power mirrors, blind spot monitoring, head and ventilated front seats, heated middle row, wireless charging, etc. Two new package options should be added for this trim with 22-inch wheels, unique interior, and exterior accents.

The top-tier Denali version will have adaptive dampers, premium leather upholstery, and textures, a head-up display, navigation system, premium sound system, etc.

2020 GMC YUKON: RELEASE DATE, PRICE

The arrival of the 2020 GMC Yukon will be in the second half of the year. The base version will again start below $50k and climb over $65k for the Denali versions.
