2019 Audi Q3 Release Date, Price, USA, Interior. With the relatively new Q7 and recently redesigned Q5, the subcompact Q3 crossover SUV is now brand’s oldest design in the range but that will change later in the year with all-new 2019 Audi Q3 In some reports, the redesigned Q3 was expected as the 2018 model but Audi confirmed its production start for the second half of 2018.
The Q3 was already spotted in several occasions while testing and details about model’s interior also appeared. The sportier RS Q3 is also in works and should follow the debut of the conventional versions in a few months.
2019 AUDI Q3: POWERTRAINS
The Q3 currently comes with the single turbo engine in the US. A 2.0-liter turbo-4 makes 200 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. The new platform opens, however, new possibilities including the PHEV version and Audi is likely considering the all-electric Q3.
Audi is also working on the RS Q3 version. It should follow about a year after the debut of the conventional Q3.
2019 AUDI Q3: NEW PLATFORM, STYLING
The new iteration of the Q3 comes with the deep structural upgrades. The 2019 Audi Q3 makes the transition to VW’s ubiquitous MQB platform. The modern, lightweight and rigid design of the platform will bring multiple benefits including the weight reduction, better efficiency, adoption of the new technologies and eventually the hybrid version.
With the adoption of the new platform, the Q3 should also become slightly longer and wider. Expect about 60 mm longer and 50 mm wider new Q3 and the wheelbase should also add 50 mm to its current length.
STYLING:
Styling wise, the Q3 will follow the pattern of the recently redesigned Q5. The grille version seems wider on the new Q3 and the fresh look of the headlights is in the line with other recently new Audis. The headlight units have new daytime running lights design and the taillights also look different with the design theme from the new Q5.
INTERIOR:
Interior of the new Q3 will also adopt the latest Audi’s design and become more spacious. Bellow the center touchscreen, the Q3 will have the conventional controls and buttons.
The new Q3 will also offer high-quality materials and attractive textures in different variations and the newest automated and safety systems.
2019 AUDI Q3: RELEASE DATE, PRICE
The all-new 2019 Audi Q3 will go on sale late this year or early next. The price will have a slight increase over the outgoing range which starts from $33, 000.
